Reborn: Prt 2

'We can get her back'  Chronos told him
The Doctor moved away from him slowly. Moving towards the console. Chronos though anticipated his movement and locked the TARDIS from him with a wave of his hand.
'Why do you fight it?' Chronos asked him.
The Doctor never looked up, he started to move towards the console, but stopped, resigning himself to the fact that it just was no good, he looked up.
'And Martha, what will happen to her?' he asked Chronos.
The hardened stare of Chronos changed and softened for a moment as if remembering.
'She kept you company, she kept you alive. But she will not remember ever being with you. For her, it would have been meerly a dream, nothing more' he told him.
'A bit like what happened to Jamie, all those years ago' the Doctor replied.
'Exactly' replied Chronos.
'What do I have to do?' the Doctor asked, maybe he could be with her again.
'You have to go through the Vortex into the Void' Chronos told him.
